Tuition Assistance Letter

Dear Parents,

Tuition assistance is offered, as funds allow, to families in need of help to continue the education of their children at Coram Deo Academy. This budget line-item primarily supports returning students in award amounts averaging $1000 per child.

Current CDA families desiring to enroll an additional sibling may also be granted consideration for their new student. However, funding is not presently available for most new students; first-time enrollees must be prepared to cover the full cost.

An outside agency, FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, conducts the financial need analysis for Coram Deo Academy and provides a confidential report to the school’s financial aid committee. The deadline to complete your application for Tuition Assistance is March 1. Award decisions will be made on or before March 31. If funds are available, additional awards will be determined in July.

Families seeking financial aid may apply online at www.factstuitionaid.com beginning December 1, 2007. The following information is required in order for FACTS to process your application:

1. Completed online application. Please enter zip code "75022" and select "Coram Deo Academy" to have your $20 application fee waived.
2. Mail the following documents directly to FACTS Grant & Aid, P.O. Box 5688, Lincoln, NE 68505
   1. Copies of your 2006 or 2007 tax return, including all supporting tax schedules.
   2. Copies of your 2007 W-2 forms for both you and your spouse.
   3. Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers' Compensation, and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.
