Greetings
in the name of our Lord,
We have been working on the future both with our students individually
and as an institution. Last week I enjoyed assisting one of our
seniors, Ryan Brankin, with his applications to West Point and
the Coast Guard Academy. Together we wrote letters to US Senators
Cornyn and Hutchison and to Congressman Burgess seeking appointments
to these outstanding service academies. Later I completed a letter
of recommendation for another senior, Brian
Frantz, who received a National Merit Scholarship Commendation
and is applying for admission to Rice University. Last month the
CDA Board approved the first annual Lions
Gifting Campaign naming Mr. Ricky Grunden the first parent
Chairman and approved an overarching approach to Development
to solidify our long term financial base. We are determined with
God’s help to make sure students like Ryan and Brian will
have all they need to gain entrance to the colleges and universities
of their choice where they will prepare to make a difference in
the culture for Christ.
High School Graduation and College Preparation
In addition to its robust college preparatory high school curriculum,
Coram Deo Academy provides a well ordered approach to navigating
the college entrance process. Our philosophy is distinctively
Christian and the approach practical.

Coram Deo Academy of North Dallas
Already parents representing one hundred students have expressed
interest in Coram Deo Academy of North Dallas. We hold our first
Information Meeting in Plano October 7. You may express your interest
in or support for this endeavor at Coram Deo Academy of North
Dallas.
Coram Deo Academy exists to transform the minds of Christian youth
and their parents so they will live all of life before God. We
seek to inculcate a comprehensive Christian Faith, a biblical
world and life view into each that with God’s mercy will
result in a gradual reshaping of western culture. We envision
thousands of Christian youth trained over time through a system
of Coram Deo Academy campuses in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
