We are making final decisions regarding electives this week and next. Therefore, we need everyone to register ASAP. Please take special note of the after school activities where there are some new offerings. On Fridays there are some really great things happending with Drama and Mrs. Pierce!! Advanced computer skills is always a wonderful class. My son's favorite last year was Around the world in 30 days. Also, classes change from year to year so they don't have the same content. You can take the same class, such as science or war games and the content can change. We have some great new countries to visit and new war games to enjoy. Guitar is also a great thing to learn. The kids came a long way in that one this past year and now we have two levels. Art, Spanish and Science are always popular and we have added a second level to Spanish. Please call the office or request a schedule if you need one. You can register at your family login. Thanks for your attention to this and keep up the good work on reading. I have heard great reports from summer book clubs. If your class is not organizing clubs, please consider hosting at least one to get started. I think you will enjoy it. We can help you get started and contact the returning and new students in the class.
Have a great week!

Help us to make good decisions about electives scheduled for the coming year. We need everyone interested in elective programs to go ahead and register on line now if you have not already done so. Decisions on any electives that do not have sufficient enrollment will be made over the next couple of weeks. Therefore, do not delay. If you are a new family or returning, please be sure to go to your family login and register there for these terrific programs. Should you need assistance with the process, please call our office at 972-862-8657. You may also still register for summer camps which begin on Monday this coming week.
Have a wonderful weekend and keep reading those summer books!
In Christ,

It won't be long before we begin our summer classes. However, we must make some decisions now regarding a couple of classes that still need some more students. If it is your intention to register for a summer class, please do so right away. In additiion, please register for the summer Latin prelude for students entering grade seven and above. Students in grade six may want to take the first week os summer Latin prelude to feel comfortable with their Latin. It is also important to register for electives and athletics now so that appropriate decisions can be made in regards to teachers, schedules, coaches, uniforms, etc. Just go to your family login and register for electives there - sports are under the electives section. If you need help, please e-mail carrollton@coramdeoacademy.org. We have some great offerings, so do not miss out. Register today.
If you are interested in summer book clubs, please contact Michelle Davis and she can point you in the right direction or help you start one. michelledavis10@gmail.com
Have a wonderful weekend and don't forget about summer reading.

Remember to come out for a great time at the picnic on Friday. I have included the details below. Also, be sure to arrive at school at 8:00am on Monday and Tuesday for rehearsals. Ceremonies will begin at 10:00am and should end about 11:30am. Please have your students in their best uniform. I look forward to seeing everyone there and to a great celebration of the school year and what the Lord has done in 2008-2009.
All new parents should join us for coffee and a time of fellowship and summer preperation. Meet us here at The Rock at 9:30am on Thursday, May 14th. Meet other parents, hear from administration and meet with teachers. Even if you are not through the process, plan to join us for this very helpful time. Also, bring a friend who may be interested in Coram Deo Academy. We should be finished by 11:30am or before. I look forward to seeing everyone at this time.
In Christ,
Scott Davis
Please remember that Monday and Tuesday of this week will be the last days for after school electives, labs and activities. There will be no after school offerings on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Do, however, go ahead and register for these electives, labs and sports for next year. Please let us know if you have questions.
Have a great week!
