Spread the Word!
CDA has been working very hard in our efforts to find a suitable location for the new Frisco / McKinney campus. We are making good progress there and certainly hope to share some additional news in the coming months. In the mean time, I need your help! Please help me to spread the word. Let people know about CDA in Frisco, McKinney, Northern Plano, and Allen. Subscribe them to this blog and encourage them to come to an information meeting or to visit our Carrollton Campus. If anyone has questions and would like to speak with me personally, please feel free to give me a call at 972-862-8657.

In Christ,

Scott Davis

Let's go to work together.
I trust each of you is ready to go to work with me as we look toward developing a campus in central Collin County. I have been working to identify our needs and to determine potential facilities. I have also enjoyed meeting with some leaders in this effort. This fall we will have additional meetings which should continue to help us move forward. At this time, I would like everyone to help me with some items. Your help will really allow this project to have an opportunity to move forward.

Frisco-McKinney Leadership Team
Dear Frisco-McKinney Parents,
Coram Deo Academy has developed a leadership team in Flower Mound designed to promote a culture of philanthropy to provide financial support for the long-term development of the Academy.  This team, co-chaired by former Dallas Cowboy Chad Hennings and Dr. Jay Mahoney has raised approximately one half of the $1.5 M needed as a down payment to finance the first phase of construction of our first permanent campus.  Now, we desire to expand this idea to include the Carrollton school, the Dallas school and a new school in the Frisco-McKinney area.  Therefore, we are seeking leaders interesting in service.  A leader would be someone that deeply believes in the mission/vision/core values of CDA and that has the interest and ability to make a significant financial gift and to apply their leadership gifts to build a culture of philanthropy at each individual school.  A representative from each of these leadership teams would serve on an all school fundraising board/council in order to assure all school coordination and camaraderie.  If you would like to inquire about service of this kind, please make yourself known to Mr. Davis for Carrollton and/or Mr. Fox for Dallas or Frisco-McKinney.  Our development director Louise Henry and Mr. Marshall will work with each school director to form these teams for the glory of God and the advancement of our mutually held mission.

Serving Him,

Joseph Fox
Field Representative, Coram Deo Academy

First Funds Come in for Frisco-McKinney School
Dear Frisco-McKinney Group,
As I have indicated in previous blogs, CDA does not use tuition dollars from existing campuses to start new campuses. Those resources must be raised by the interested constituents. As I also stated previously, we need $50,000.00 to start a new campus in your area. It is extremely exciting to announce that the first funds have come in for your school start. After event overhead, the Frisco-McKinney golfers will net about $2,500.00 that will be applied directly to the Frisco-McKinney school start account. I want to express our gratitude to the following parents who participated in order to raise funds for the new school: Chuck & Cathy Green, Tim Raynaud, Belinda Parker, Ben Geist, and Brian Holt. I also want to thank all of the families that sponsored one of the Frisco-McKinney golfers. This is a very good start towards the achievement of our goal. The event website will remain open until Monday, April 30th. If you would still like to contribute, visit the following url: https://www.miraclegolfconcepts.com/donate.php?eventid=49&participantid=25.
Planning Meeting
A planning meeting will be scheduled toward the end of May for all of those families interested in discussing the school start. Stay tuned for more details in upcoming blogs.
Direct Donation
You may donate directly to the Frisco-McKinney school start by visiting the following url: http://www.coramdeoacademy.org/content/blogs/donate.php

I look forward to working with you towards the successful opening of the new Coram Deo Academy of Frisco-McKinney.

Time is running out!
Dear Frisco-McKinney parents,

Tomorrow, April 23rd, is the day of our golf-tennis marathon fundraising event. Golfers from Dallas, Carrollton and the potential Frisco-McKinney campus will be participating for their respective schools. If you would still like to contribute to your Frisco-McKinney school, it’s not too late. You may contribute by going to the following URL: https://www.miraclegolfconcepts.com/donate.php?p=25&e=49.

Please keep Mr. Fox in your prayers tomorrow as he is still suffering the lingering effects of a knee injury suffered from a vicious dodge ball battle of “sharks and minnows” last Thursday during morning recess. Mr. Fox is considered a “minnow” on steroids.

I have been blessed by those who have already contributed. I pray God’s continued blessing upon our school.

Serving Him,

Joseph Fox

Gearing up for Monday's Marathon
Dear Frisco-McKinney Group,

I want to express my gratitude to the families that have already contributed to the Frisco-McKinney school start through our golf marathon. If you have not yet contributed, there are only a few days left to make a financial contribution to your new campus through the golf marathon. If you would like to make a contribution, please consider sponsoring one of the parents from your group that is playing on Monday, April 23rd. You may contribute online by visiting our event website at www.miraclegolfconcepts.com, selecting the CDA event, and then selecting one of the following CDA Frisco-McKinney parents: Geist, Green, Parker, or Raynaud.
Please pray that God would bless our efforts to raise funds in support of the new campus start in Frisco and McKinney.

Serving Him,

Joseph Fox
Dallas School Director & Field Representative

How You Can Support Your New School
Dear Frisco-McKinney Parents,
In order for us to start a new school in your area, we need the capital to cover the initial expenses without using any resources from our existing campuses. The initial cost for the Carrollton and Dallas school starts was approximately $50,000.00 per school. We need equivalent funding to get the Frisco-McKinney school started. The upcoming golf-tennis marathon is one vehicle that has the potential to provide some or all of the start-up expenses for your new school. I am very encouraged by the five families from your group that have stepped up to raise financial support for the new school start by participating in the golf-tennis marathon to be held at the Eldorado next Monday. If you are serious about the possibility of a new Coram Deo Academy of Frisco-McKinney, please consider financially sponsoring one of the five Frisco participants. The following parents are playing and raising support for your new school: Brock, Raynaud, Green, Geist and Parker. You may financially sponsor them by visiting our event website at www.miraclegolfconcepts.com , then go to the CDA event and click on the Frisco golfer of your choice. If you are able to sponsor them, you will be giving them the opportunity to win a year’s tuition along with other great prizes while contributing to a great new school dedicated to becoming a significant godly influence in your community. Please support your new school and your neighbors that have stepped up to participate.

It's still not to late to register to participate in the school start fundraising marathon
Dear Frisco-McKinney parents,
Many of you have expressed an interest in establishing a new CDA campus in the Frisco-McKinney area. In order for us to establish any new campus, there is a need for us to raise the initial start-up capital to cover the expenses prior to the commencement of classes. This golf-tennis marathon could potentially be a key instrument in meeting some or all of our start-up costs depending upon your participation and enthusiasm for the project. There is still time to register as a participant in our school start fundraiser, and you may still register even if you have not attended one of our two planning meetings. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about participating in this event (940 367-6214). There are three ways you may participate: 1) Register online as a marathon golfer, tennis player , or virtual golfer at www.miraclegolfconcepts.com. Once you are registered as a participant, you may begin sending out emails and gaining sponsorships for your new school. This also qualifies you to earn some of the great prizes - full tuition, full set of golf clubs, PGA Superstore gift certificates, etc. 2) You may participate by going online at www.miraclegolfconcepts.com and sponsoring one of several Frisco-McKinney parents who have registered for this event. Your tax deductible donations will go directly to the school start and you will also be enabling your fellow CDA parents to win some great prizes. 3) Pray that the Lord would bless our effort to start a new school in the Frisco-McKinney area. If you are really enthusiastic about the new Coram Deo Academy of Frisco-McKinney, you could do all three.
Serving Him,
Joseph Fox

Frisco-McKinney School Golf-Tennis Fundaiser Meeting is tomorrow

Don’t miss this win-win opportunity to earn great prizes like free tuition, golf clubs, and gift certificates while concomitantly generating start-up funds for a wonderful new Frisco-McKinney CDA. We will be conducting an information meeting about our Frisco-McKinney-Golf-Tennis-Marathon-Fundraiser tomorrow morning (Saturday, March 31st) at the PGA Superstore from 9:00-10:00. The PGA Superstore has reserved a room for us. The PGA Superstore is located near Collin Creek Mall at 600 Accent Drive in Plano (214) 427-4060. Children are welcome. Mr. Fox will be in attendance if any of you would like to informally discuss the new school start or strategize about how to remain injury free while golfing with him. If you cannot attend or do not wish to play for sponsorships, please consider financially sponsoring one of your fellow Frisco-McKinney parents. If you cannot decide whom to sponsor, I recommend sponsoring Mr. Fox. All funds donated by Frisco-McKinney parents will be applied directly to the start-up costs of the new Frisco-McKinney School.
