Coram Deo Academy, a school for head and heart
As Virgil said to Dante, "It is the place to start."
With that allusion, and much more, your children will contend
Let this blog be your Virgil, your mentor, and your friend.

New Student Admission Opens

Coram Deo Academy will begin receiving new student applications for the 2008-2009 school year effective November 1, 2007. Applications for siblings of current CDA students may be submitted online using the same family account.

Families who are applying to Coram Deo Academy for the first time will need to create a CDA account before proceeding with the individual student application information. You will be directed to this step when you click on the “apply” button on the website.

If you know of others who may be interested in Coram Deo Academy, please let them know about our upcoming Campus Visit Days and Evening Information Meetings. Tours of both the Carrollton and Dallas schools will be offered on Thursday, November 8 from 9:30-10:30 am.

On Tuesday, November 13 the Flower Mound campus will host a Campus Visit Day from 9-10:30 am and the Carrollton School will host an Evening Information Meeting at 7 pm.

Please see http://www.coramdeoacademy.org/content/pages/visit.php for more details and a complete listing of future meetings. Reservations for any of these opportunities are appreciated and may be phoned in or emailed to the respective campus. We look forward to meeting you soon.

Coram Deo Academy is an independent, nondenominational school and Christian learning community, with three locations in the metroplex: preK through grade eight in Carrollton at 2435 E. Hebron Parkway; preK through grade six in Dallas at 12727 Hillcrest Rd.; and preK through grade 12 in Flower Mound at 4900 Wichita Trail. Filling a unique niche, the Academy educates youth in a historic Christian worldview through a vigorous classical curriculum and genuine school-home collaboration, where students attend school three days a week and work at home under the tutelage of their parents the other days. The curriculum is based on the classical Trivium model of grammar, logic and rhetoric and includes the introduction of Latin in third grade. CDA offers a thoughtful approach to a renaissance in classical education and works to train ethical leaders and wise thinkers who will shape culture for the glory of God.
