For parents who are inquiring about enrollment for future years: Campus Visit Days and Evening Information Meetings resume in the fall. Calendar updates will be posted soon. New student admission typically opens November 1. Please stay in touch.
For parents who will have a student enrolled at CDA for the 2008-2009 school year: please note the announcements below to help your family prepare for a wonderful year of educating in the presence of God.
New and returning students are expected to complete summer reading prior to the start of school. If your family isn’t quite through the admission process yet, your child should be reading in anticipation of acceptance. Children entering grades 5-12 may download their book report forms from the summer reading list page.
Students who have enrolled for the fall should order books now. Please see click here for the complete school year list as well as required summer reading list. With the exception of Shurley Grammar and Coram Deo Press items (green) or other “classroom distribution” items (blue), you are responsible for buying your child’s books. Click here to order directly from Varsity Books. You may also purchase from your favorite local or online book store but please pay special attention to the ISBN—the numbers must match exactly. For Lands’ End uniform information please click here.
Mark your calendars: orientations are scheduled for the week of August 11. These mandatory sessions will help you start the school year off on the right foot so plan your vacation time accordingly. Orientation schedules vary slightly according to the campus; please refer to your school director’s blog for details. Classes begin August 18 for Mon/Wed and full-time students. Tues/Thurs students have their first day of class on August 19.
All financial accounts must be in order prior to the start of school. Families may elect to pay in full or establish a monthly payment plan through FACTS Tuition Management. If you have completed your child’s enrollment process online, then you should receive an invoice about the 10th of the month from FACTS. You will need the number on that invoice to set up your account. Please go to http://www.factsmgt.com or contact FACTS at 1-800-624-7092 for assistance.
And finally, families with students enrolled for the 2008-2009 school year should also be receiving their school director’s blog. This is the best way for the school to convey a variety of important announcements. If you are not receiving these notices, we’d appreciate your help in subscribing your email address to your campus blog. For assistance with the blogs or any of the above items, please contact your school office. We are looking forward to another year of educating coram deo.
