Lions Pride is the name of our new and improved athletic booster club. It is designed to provide support for our athletes and coaches while giving our parents an opportunity to be involved on a daily basis.
The objective of the Lions Pride can be summed up in four areas.
1. To provide parents a means to be actively involved with their child's sports.
2. To conduct fundraising activities during the school year directed to purchase additional athletic equipment.
3. To provide an increased awareness of the activities and results of the athletic program.
4. To support and encourage the coaches as they work to train our children "Coram Deo".
The Lions Pride will be led this year by Marc Dingler (Chairman), Dennis O'Brien, Clay King, Don Manning, Gary Moer and Donnie Brake. These men have been meeting regularly to find ways to improve the overall athletic program. The formation of the Lions Pride was top on the list of thing to do this year.
There will be a kickoff meeting for the Lions Pride on August 16th at the Applebee's in Lewisville. This is a great opportunity to meet the new coaches and to learn more about the organization. Applebee's will also be serving breakfast as our first fundraiser of the year. There will be an $8.00 per person charge or a $30 per family maximum.
