Starting out strong, the Coram Deo Academy Lions Varsity basketball team scored a huge victory over the Temple Christian Eagles on Nov. 15 with a final score of 71 to 22.
Michael O'Brien led the team with five rebounds; Zach Moer led the team in baskets with 17 points with Ben Moer (12 points) and Andrew Frank (11 points) close behind. Bronnick Foo stripped the ball away from the hands of the Eagles seven times and Eric Neal led in assists. Also contributing to the Lions victory were Hunter Deal and Cameron Meyer.
The game got off to a quick start for the Lions with a score of 17-2 at the end of the first quarter. At the half, the Lions extended their lead to 38 to 9.
