You should each have received reminders regarding priority re-enrollment for January. I wanted to take a moment to remind you to go ahead and re-enroll this coming week since we all have a little time before classes begin. A few weeks ago as I was coaching my son on how to write, I was reminded of why my family chooses to partner with CDA each year.   I was asking him for some ideas or examples. He came up with some thoughts and ways of looking at things that I had not considered and, quite honestly, were better than my thoughts. While it is challenging some days, I see glimpses of what a classical and Christian education can produce. I am excited to continue down the path so see what the Lord does.

Remember the new full time program available for grades 5-8. I announced a few weeks ago that we had been granted access to the ROCK Café to use as our study center for this new program. Should you have additional questions about the full time program, be sure to e-mail me. Also, if you know families who desire to attend CDA but have not been able to do so because of their work schedule or other constraints, this option may suit them well. Be sure to let your friends know about this new program.

 

 

Additionally, we are planning both M/W and T/Th sections of pre-k this next year. So feel free to apply or re-enroll for either option. 

 

Special Note: This is the first year we will have pre-k students re-enrolling for kindergarten. That means the number of spaces for NEW students in kindergarten will be more limited. Many of you have introduced me to your younger children and indicated they will be in kindergarten this next year. Therefore, I would encourage any parents of new K students to apply sooner rather than later this year.

 

To re-enroll, go to your family login and follow the directions there. If you should have problems with logins or directions, please contact me ASAP and I will assist.

 

 

Please welcome our new administrative assistant. Mrs. Chandra Keller will begin her duties on January 7^th. Many of you already know Mrs. Keller as she has already been working for CDA in other capacities and has two students at CDA. I am sure you will enjoy getting to know her. Ms. Shailer has stepped away to pursue other opportunities. Therefore, if you need something from the front desk, please e-mail Mrs. Keller at

ckeller@coramdeoacademy.org.   We wish Ms. Shailer well and thank her for the time she spent contributing to CDA. We also wish Mrs. Keller the best as she begins a new position.
