New applications for siblings: As part of the admissions process we want to be able to keep families together on the days they prefer. Therefore, January is also the priority time when current families can apply for new students and have an opportunity to keep all the children together on the same days. Waiting until later often makes it difficult to place new students in sections on the same day as the sibling(s).

 

Also, be sure to re-enroll your current student or students this coming week to assure your place for the 2008-2009 school year and to have the $250 re-enrollment fee waived. Should you need assistance or have questions, please call the office.

 

Additionally, teachers will be available should you have questions about curriculum or other items of interest.

Last night we heard from Mr. and Mrs. Marshall and were reminded of the history and told a bit of the future of Coram Deo Academy. Mrs. Marshall is always so good at keeping our focus regarding why we educate classically. Mr. Marshall explained the considerations going into the development of a Collin County Pre-K through grade 12 school. I will be releasing an official statement about campus development in a separate blog very soon.

 

I gave an account of the upcoming SACS accreditation visit and went through the things we have been doing to get ready. There were many areas of improvement highlighted and information about new programs and offerings yet to come. If you were not at the meeting, I would be glad to e-mail you the power point presentation I used so that you may see all of the details I highlighted. Please request this by e-mailing me at sdavis@coramdeoacademy.org.
