The first day is approaching!
First Day of School:

Monday the 18th and Tuesday the 19th will be the first days of school. Drop-off is between 7:45am and 8:00am. Home room / devotional time begins at 8:00am. Please use the lobby entrance for drop-off and pick-up.

Car Tags:

Use the same car tag from last year if you have that. If you have not received one yet, come in on Monday and Tuesday and pick one up at the front desk. This will identify you in the afternoon so we can get your students to you easily.

Logic Level Meeting:

We will meet with logic level parents for just a short time after drop-off on the first days of school this week in the auditorium. It won’t take long, but we do need to share some information specific to the logic level (grades 5-8) parents.

TeacherEase:

You should be receiving your new TeacherEase login this weekend if you are new to CDA. If you do not receive it over the weekend, let us know on Monday or Tuesday as we could have entered an e-mail address incorrectly or have en old one, etc.

PE and Homework Head Start:

Remember that we will begin these period seven electives on the first day of school. You will pick up these students at 3:30pm. PE will meet in the gym but may move from there to a variety of locations depending upon the activity for the day. Homework Head Start will meet in Mrs. Garland’s room (3rd grade – medieval room).

Basketball skills and labs:

We will start these sessions the second week of school. We will
Get your students to the correct place after school. Basketball skills participants may change clothes after school and get straight to the gym (east side). It will help us if students who have a basketball can bring it (and leave it in their bag during the day). We will have several students and I am not sure if we have enough basketballs for everyone at this point. Mr. Stults will be leading this group.

I look forward to seeing all the smiling faces on Monday and Tuesday. Have a great weekend!

In Christ,

Scott Davis
