Upcoming Academia Parentibus and Office Move Information
Academia Parentibus Session – Shurley English Made Easy

Join us right after school for one of two sessions the week of October 6th. These sessions (both are the same) will focus on the new Shurley English Made Easy. The local Shurley English representative will be speaking and answering your questions about the new edition. We will not have child care for this event. However, your students are free to join you as this session may be beneficial for everyone.  We will announce the exact time and dates for the event as soon as we have finalized the schedule with the Shurley English representative.

New office update and move-in schedule:

The new office area is complete other than some minor details and touch-ups. Therefore, we will begin moving the files and some storage to the new area this week. We are still waiting on furniture and we will be setting up the network, etc. in the new office area this week. We will NOT be moving the entrance until all is complete with the new area and we have the front door access set. We will make a special announcement before we actually make this move.

Volleyball:

The Lady Lions looked great on Thursday as they defeated Prince of Peace. There is still a great deal of action left so be sure to make it out to some of the remaining games and cheer on the Lady Lions.

Fundraising update:

We continue to make progress toward the goal for the construction of the new classrooms. I am very grateful to each of the families who have given so generously. Reaching this goal is essential to our goal of starting a high school at the Carrollton campus. As we move toward the new admissions year, we want to be able to speak to everyone with a strong knowledge of our ability to construct the needed classrooms. This requires us to have a strong week of gifts and pledges toward the project. If you have yet to step forward with your gift or pledge, I trust you will do so this coming week. Again, if is very important that we have this in place very soon so we can speak confidentially as we move toward the new admissions season.

Lastly, I am trusting God to provide through each of us.  I know we will all feel the same sense of responsibility whether our children are approaching high school for next year or if we still have a few years to go. Remember, every gift of any amount is appreciated. Thank you for your prayers and generosity!!

Lost and Found:

Be sure to check the front desk for lost and found items.

T-shirts:

We still have spirit t-shirts for sale at the front desk. These shirts are $15.00 and come in a large range of sizes. Parents can purchase a shirt as well as students.

Have a great week!

In Christ,

Scott Davis
