The Lions handed Denton Calvary a loss to open the 2008-2009 season. The 40-19 final score was a tribute to some hustle and teamwork. Next week will be a challenge as the Lions face a very good Dallas Thunder team on Monday at 7:00pm and then travel to Legacy Christian Academy for a Thursday match-up. 

 

 

We have items beginning to come in for the collection for local children. Again, this is a great opportunity to take your students shopping and talk about the simple items you are buying and the things we take for granted every day. Please bring what you can this coming week for our partnership with Christian Life Assembly / The Rock and then we will continue accepting items through December. Thank you all very much for the contributions. I know they will be meaningful to many local students.

 

 

If you have a student ready to come to CDA this next year, you should go ahead and make application now to be sure you are at the front of the list. We had a really great turnout on our first campus visit day. It was our largest crowd to date. Thank you to everyone who invited friends. 

 

Please let me specifically address kindergarten. Remember that our Pre-K students will be re-enrolling into kindergarten, so that immediately takes up a good number of seats. Therefore, I encourage families with kindergarten students to apply now. 

 

We have another campus visit day coming up in December along with an evening meeting that we will host here at the Rock. Interested families can register for those meeting on line or can get information by calling out office at 972-862-8657.

 

 

If you are missing items, be sure to check at the front desk. We do clean out lunch boxes / bags at various times through the year, so please come and look if you are missing anything.
