Valentine’s Dental Outreach Project was a Success
Every student decorated a bag with hearts of love and many chose to include scripture verses on their bag. Each student filled their bag with dental hygiene products for those children who are less fortunate. We were able to fill 80 bags with a variety of dental hygiene products. The bags were distributed among many ministries including Interfaith, Exodus Ministries, Ministry to Refugees, Kidz Pointe, and First Baptist of Dallas. The children loved taking part in this project as they showed their love to others in a very tangible way.
Adventure of a Lifetime Brochures
Parents and staff are receiving an Adventure of a Lifetime brochure about Coram Deo Academy that is sized to fit in a pocket or purse. We encourage you to give these away and come back to the office for as many more as you need. Just as you make decisions by talking to trusted friends and opinion-leaders who know something about a product or service, we know that others will choose to enroll based on information from enrolled families, faculty and staff. Please help share your journey at Coram Deo Academy with those you know who might be interested in learning about a classical, Christian education.
We Would Love to be a Guest Speaker
Do you know of others who may be interested in classical Christian education and the CDA model? Coram Deo Academy’s admission and school directors are available to speak at homeschool support groups, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), Preschool PTA, church study groups, and so forth. Spelling Bee
Please be in prayer for Audrey Lawrence our Dallas spelling bee winner. Audrey will compete with other area Christian school bee winners this Tuesday evening February 19th. May the Lord be with you and bless you with correct recall.
Hot Dog Lunches
Prepaid lunches will be served this Tuesday, February 19th.
Box Tops
Please send all box tops to school by February 21st. Mrs. Fowler will once again send them in for a refund check. CDA earned $103.00 for the box tops sent in last fall! Thank you for participating in this wonderful program.
Six Flags Reading Form
The Six Flags 600 minute reading program form must be turned in to your child’s teacher by February 21st. There is no grace period for this deadline!
CTP4 Testing
Next week on Tuesday, February, 26th and Thursday, February 28th, the CTP4 standardized test will be administered to 2nd – 5th grade students.
