Friday Enrichment Opportunities Now Available
You may register online now for Friday enrichment offerings by going to your family login. While our core program is an excellent learning experience for your student, Friday classes are a great enhancement to your child’s classical foundation. The following courses are available as Friday enrichment opportunities: Visual Art, Hands on Science, Spanish, Guitar (grades 3-5), Beginning Violin (k-5th), Choir I, Choir II, Aesop’s Fables Drama and Music in Motion Drama. If you are interested in electives, you can assist us greatly in efficiency and planning by enrolling now. Course descriptions will be sent in your child’s PIF this week.
Standardized Testing
Students in grades 2 – 5 will be taking standardized tests (CTP4) on Tuesday, February 26th and Thursday, February 28th. Expect homework to be much lighter than usual for those grades. When testing is complete in each class children will have a chance to review material they have already covered. Encourage your student to get plenty of rest and a nourishing breakfast before testing days. Students in pre-kindergarten –first grade will continue with their usual academics next week.
The Dallas Campus will host the next New Parent Information Meeting
Please continue to pray for and actively promote the Dallas Campus among your interested friends. The next CDA New Family Information Meeting will be on Monday, March 3rd beginning at 7:00p.m. in the parish hall at 12727 Hillcrest Rd. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall will provide a more in-depth explanation of educating “in the presence of God”. This is a wonderful opportunity for our school so, please promote the school by inviting your friends. CDA parents please come out and support this event and bring or greet a prospective family.
Family Easter Chapel
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 11th to join our Family Easter celebration.
The students are learning several songs they will share with you during the presentation.
