Friday Electives
Families you are encouraged to enroll your student in the Friday enrichment classes for the 2008-09 school year. Go to your family login at the CDA web site to register for electives. By registering now, you will help us with planning and securing our staff. Please call the school office with any questions you may have about Friday Electives.
Parent Coffee and Book/Uniform Sale
CDA will host new parents and returning parents to coffee and an opportunity to purchase summer reading books, uniforms, and non curriculum resources. We will be accepting non curriculum items this year. A table will be provided to display items that you no longer use and would like to pass along to someone who could use these items to enhance their at home experience. A detailed letter about the procedures to follow to participate in the uniform and book sale went home in your child’s PIF. We need your help to provide food for the new mom’s coffee on May 15th! If you are interested in bringing food or drinks, please contact Michele Howard at Michele.howard@sbcglobal.net.
Breakfast Social for Moms
After drop of on Tuesday, May 13th (last day of school and awards day), join other moms for a year end breakfast at La Madeleine located in the Preston/Forest shopping center. After enjoying a peaceful and sweet fellowship time moms will return to campus for the 10:30 Awards Day Ceremony.

Schedule for the last day of school Tuesday, May 13th:
8:30 Students arrive for class we will not hold chapel
10:30 -12:00 Parents return to campus for the Awards Ceremony
Noon Students are dismissed to go home with their parents
Parents, siblings, and grandparents are invited to attend the 10:30 a.m. Awards Ceremony in the sanctuary.
