Private School Fair Opportunity
CDA will also take part in the North Private School Fair at Prestonwood Christian Academy on Saturday, October 25th. Beginning in November, Coram Deo Academy will host monthly meetings for prospective students and their parents. We appreciate your help in letting others know about our vigorous, classical program. Parent Teacher Conferences
The Parent Teacher conferences are scheduled for Thursday, October 23rd. Please note that students do not attend the conferences with their parents and child care is not available on campus. It is important to keep the appointment time set on the Parent Teacher conference schedules to assure you have a scheduled time to meet with your child’s teacher during the first semester of school. Thank you for arriving five minutes before your conference is scheduled with the teacher to facilitate a smooth transition from one appointment to the next.
Spirit Shirts
Spirit Shirts should arrive on Tuesday. Mrs. Howard will send them with your child when they arrive. Students will have an opportunity to wear their spirit shirts on October 16th to celebrate their hard work and accomplishments the first quarter of the year.
Mom To Mom
Our next mom to mom fellowship will be from 8:30-9:30 on Thursday, October 16th.
This is a great opportunity to meet new moms and to spend time in fellowship with one another. Louise Henry will be our guest speaker for this month.
Hot Lunches
Prepaid hot lunches will be served on;
Tuesday, October 14th and
Tuesday, October 28th
Family Picnic
Join us for a time of family fun and fellowship on Saturday, October 25th from 3:00-6:00 at Churchill Recreation Center Park.
Box Tops
Box Tops can be turned in to the office anytime between now and October 28th.
Our Box Top coordinator will need to count them and mail them by October 30th.
This is a great way for our school to receive funds with little effort.
CDA Resource Website
The following is a link to a website designed by a CDA mom from Carrollton. It includes Shirley Jingles, History Songs, Catherine Vos Story Bible, Summer Reading, Bible Memory Verses etc. all sorted by grade. This allows her to have the computer ‘read’ to one child while she works with another. Some songs can be downloaded and burned onto a CD but some can not.
