CTP4 ACHIEVEMENT TEST
Enclosed in your child’s PIF this week are the results of the Comprehensive Testing Program 4 (CTP4) exams along with a cover letter from Mrs. Schaefer CDA testing coordinator. Please remember when looking at the progress of a student, that CTP4 scores are only one piece of the overall assessment. There are many factors to take into consideration: school performance, quarterly grades, teacher appraisals and observations, writing samples, effort, and character development are just some components of valid assessment of your child’s overall academic success.

FRIDAY STUDENTS VISITING THE DALLAS MUSEUM OF ART
The collections of the Dallas Museum of Art include works of art from many different cultures and time periods. The Museum hosts many tour groups during the year and they have provided a list of guidelines to assist us in following their procedures while visiting the galleries:
- Do not touch the artwork
- Only use pencils when writing and sketching in the galleries
- Food, beverages, and chewing gum are not allowed in the galleries. Bring a sack lunch and we will eat together in the Sculpture Garden.
- Be prepared to travel light while touring the museum by leaving backpacks and other baggage in the car.
- Cameras must be hand-held, without a flash. Cameras may not be used in restricted areas.
- Children must remain with an adult at all times while touring the Museum.
Thank you for reviewing this list with your children before arriving at the Museum. We look forward to seeing you at 11:00am on Friday, May 9th.
