PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES OCTOBER 22 & 23
The Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, October 22nd and Thursday, October 23rd. We look forward to the opportunity to visit with you and discuss your child’s progress this first quarter of school. Conference schedules were sent home this week. Please note that students do not attend the conferences with their parents and child care is not available on campus. It is important to keep the appointment set on the Parent/Teacher Conference Schedules to assure you have a scheduled time to meet with your child’s teacher during the first semester of school. Thank you for arriving five minutes before your conference is scheduled with the teacher to facilitate a smooth transition from one appointment to the next.
FUN FUNDRAISER!
Thank you for participating in our fundraiser. It was an exciting two weeks with plenty of incentives for selling the catalog items. This week forty students received gift cards for selling fifteen items each; and Mrs. Sullivan’s MW class and Mrs. Henderson’s TT class each won the Big Snake and they were served milkshakes and fries at their class parties! Jaden Roberts sold 41 items, Jonathan McAlister sold 36, and Kara Prather sold 36 items! They were our top sellers and each received a cash award. Our proceeds will purchase items for the classrooms.
CULTIVATING THE NEXT GENERATION
Mrs. Marshall spoke at the Coram Deo Cafés this week and shared with the audience several pictures highlighting events at CDA from 1999 – 2009. Mrs. Marshall reminded us that we are nurturers and we are cultivating the next generation for service to the Lord. Make plans to attend future Café meetings. The meetings are posted on the calendar at the CDA website and are held on the second Tuesday and Wednesday of each month from 8:30am – 9:30am in the Fireside Room.
SUPER DADS

ANNUAL HEALTH SCREENINGS OCTOBER 13 & 14
Hearing, vision, and ANTES screenings will be administered at school by Insight on Monday, October 13th and Tuesday, October 14. This service is offeredto assist families in fulfilling annual mandated health screenings. Forms and money are due on the Screening days.
SCHOOL PICTURE DAY OCTOBER 29 & 30
Student and class pictures will be taken at school on Wednesday, October 29th and Thursday, October 30th. Students wear their school uniforms on picture day.
NOVEMBER EVENTS GRANDPARENTS DAY & DEO IN THE PARK
Mark Your Calendar for the week of November 3rd. We are excited to have the opportunity to share the vision for our school with the grandparents and other special people in the lives of our students! We invite the grandparents of PreK – 12th grade CDA students to join us from 7:45am- Noon on Wednesday, November 5th and Thursday, November 6th to tour our facilities and have pictures made with their grandchildren.
