PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES OCTOBER 22 & 23
The Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, October 22nd and Thursday, October 23rd. We look forward to the opportunity to visit with you and discuss your child’s progress this first quarter of school. Conference schedules were sent home in the PIFs. Please note that students do not attend the conferences with their parents and child care is not available on campus. It is important to keep the appointment set on the Parent/Teacher Conference Schedules to assure you have a scheduled time to meet with your child’s teacher during the first semester of school. Thank you for arriving five minutes before your conference is scheduled with the teacher to facilitate a smooth transition from one appointment to the next.
GRANDPARENT DAYS AT CDA
Grandparents are invited to attend our Grandparent Days on Wednesday, November 5th and Thursday, November 7:45am – 11:45am. The day begins with everyone meeting in the auditorium for refreshments and a meeting to explain the vision of the school. Following the meeting the grandparents are invited to tour our campus and visit their grandchildren’s classrooms. A photographer is available that morning to take pictures of the grandparents and their grandchildren.
But that's not all! Grandparents will be honored again at the Friday night football game as our Lions take on Brookhill at 7:30pm at Coppell West Middle School Stadium. Our fun-filled week will end with our annual Deo in the Park held at the Flower Mound campus Saturday from 10-1pm with fabulous family activities for all ages!

DEO IN THE PARK

We look forward to our annual fellowship and fundraiser again this year. Your participation in Deo in the Park makes this event extra special! We are truly grateful for the time and resources you have invested to assure there is something for everyone in the family to enjoy on that day.
Thank you for contributing to the wonderful class baskets and volunteering to work a booth. The baskets will be sold in the Silent Auction during Deo in the Park. Bidding begins at 10:00am and closes at 12:30pm. Winners will be announced by 1:00pm. Please send your basket items to school by Thursday October 16th and mark it to the attention of the class homeroom parent. Baskets will be on display in the school lobby beginning the week of October 20th.
Prospective CDA Families Invited to October 25 Private School Fair
Coram Deo Academy will take part in the North Private School Fair at Prestonwood Christian Academy from 10 amuntil 1 pm on Saturday, October 25. If you know of others who may be interested in classical education, please let them know about the school fair and our upcoming meetings for prospective students and their parents. CDA will begin receiving new student applications for the 2009-2010 school year effective November 1, 2008. Applications for siblings of current CDA students may be submitted online using the same family account. Re-enrollment for current students opens January 1, 2008; no action is required for continuing students at this time.
