CORAM DEO OPEN

Parents, high school students and community members are invited to play golf in the Coram Deo Academy Open, May 1, at the Golf Club at Castle Hills in Lewisville.  Families will receive a brochure this week; for more information visit http://coramdeoacademy.org/content/development/golf.php . There are several ways to participate:

1)      Sign up to play golf -- pay the entry fee

2)       Raise funds from others (sample letters are provided) and play golf for free or

3)      Solicit involvement from businesses to bring a team or be a sponsor.

Proceeds from the event will be divided among all the CDA campuses to provide for technology, buses, recreation/playground equipment, athletics, and campus development and expansion. 

All donations and sponsorships are tax-deductible!

TAPPS Success

Students had terrific success at the TAPPS state tournament last weekend!  Here are the academic, speech, and art competition results.

Molly Reed placed 5th in Current Events. 

Chapin Cavender placed 3rd in Computer Science. 

Rachel Synan placed 4th and Rachel Bannert placed 6th in Ready Writing. 

Jeremy Scroggs placed 5th in Persuasive Speaking.

Liz Price placed 2nd in Solo Acting.

Taylor Sharp placed 2nd in Oratory.

Matt Wakefield, 3rd in painting
