DEO IN THE PARK
Saturday, November 8, come to Deo in the Park. The festivities begin at 10:00 and run until 1:00. There are many events that are included in the entry fee, including lunch. The high school houses and clubs will have booths that will need tickets purchased for $0.50 each. Come ready to bid on the great baskets. This is a great time of fellowship for the families of CDA. I look forward to seeing everyone! Extra parking will be at the church across the street. Make sure to park in the parking areas.
CDA T-SHIRTS
Order your new CDA T-shirt on Saturday at Deo in the Park or send payment and form to the school office with your student by next Friday Nov. 14th. You may see the new design at Dwyer’s document page on the CDA website. We will have a spirit day to see all the new t-shirts once the orders have been delivered. There will be no extras ordered.
CORAM DEO CAFÉ
The Coram Deo Café meets in the Fireside Room from 8:30am – 9:30am on Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Parties, shopping, baking, and school – it’s all too much! Shannon Mahoney will be speaking about "Peace and Home for the Holidays" from her favorite book The Art of Christian Homemaking. Join us to learn some practical ways to budget your time and money through the holidays. A craft project will also be made at the meeting. Please bring a $2.00 supply fee for the craft project.
NEW STUDENTS
Now Accepting Applications for 2009-2010
New Student Admission opened November 1. Applications for siblings of current CDA students may be submitted online using the same family account. Re-enrollment for current students opens January 1; no action is required for continuing students at this time.
Campus Visit Days provide a window into Coram Deo Academy for prospective students and their families. If you know of others who may be interested in our school, please let them know about our upcoming meetings (click here for a complete listing of dates). We hope they’ll join us next week at 9 am on Thursday, November 13 for an introduction to classical Christian education and a campus tour. Prospective families may also visit with the admission staff during the Flower Mound campus Deo in the Park celebration from 10 am until 1 pm on Saturday, November 8.
