Dear Parents,
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
In the midst of our Fire Department inspection today, a lightning strike knocked-out an electrical panel necessary for our new building. The panel is being shipped overnight and should be working tomorrow in time for another inspection. The inspection was almost complete and we think we were going to pass when this happened so we feel confident that once the panel is replaced, we will be granted occupancy. Other local services (Verizon’s Internet) were also knocked-out by the lightning.
We are still planning on holding classes Wednesday and beginning the day at 8am with an assembly. We may not be as “un-packed” as we might like, but God willing there will be tables, chairs and teachers in spacious, clean classrooms. K-8th grade classes are unaffected by any of these issues.
Please keep watch on this blog for the latest information and I will send a confirmation regarding Wednesday’s classes tomorrow afternoon. Once we are cleared to set-up and un-pack, I will also notify you since so many of you have volunteered to help. Thanks again for your patient understanding.
God bless you,
Bill Rector
