Soccer Players Needed Now
We have some anxious students ready for the co-ed soccer season to begin. If your student would like to join them, please contact Coach Brake today! We need two more students to have a great team this year. We look forward to having fun and learning a life-long sport. Come and join us in soccer this year!

Basketball Season has begun

5th Grade Students
Mr. Ea’s class capitalizes on our short school day to make every moment count. I caught them returning from lunch re-enacting the pony express and the beginning of the railroad. They were learning about two systems of transportation/communication that collided in history and changed how information was exchanged. Great job, 5th graders!

6th Grade Students
6th grade students have presented some wonderful lectures in history. Now they are working on “teaching” their next topics. I have heard some students are preparing transparencies, posters, worksheets, etc. Maybe they will even assign me some homework! They are anxious to try to teach and move around the classroom like a real teacher. I look forward to hearing their topics come alive. Voice inflection, communicating the topic concisely, and keeping it interesting will make it a great presentation.

WOW! We had a great week! I can’t wait to see what happens next. Have a great weekend!
