I am planning to incorporate pictures of your travels and adventures into a slide show for the beginning of the year.  Also, summer time is a great time to get your immunizations and screenings up-to-date.  Please check the website for details.  Any screening done after June 1 can count for the coming year. 

Screenings:
All new students and Pre-K, K,1st ,3rd, 5th and 7th grade - need vision and hearing screenings.
All students in 6th and 9th grade - need scoliosis screenings.
While there are forms that exist to validate your screenings, the only document required is a proof of screening by your doctor's office.  (prescription pads or letters from the doctor's office are also valid forms)
Medical and Conscientious Objections are allowed.  If you have one on file with the school, please check with the office to make sure it is up-to-date.

Backpacks:
There are OPTIONAL backpacks, lunch boxes, and headbands that can be ordered through Land's End with the school logo. 

Assignment Books: 
 The school office (6th grade and above) will be selling Assignment Books with the CDA logo this year.  They are $6 each.  Each Logic School student is required to have an assignment book by the first day of class.  You can pick up one from most store or come by the office to buy from the school.  5th graders will be given assignment sheets given to them by the teachers.

Fall Sports Sign-up:
There are some great opportunities through the CDA Athletic Department for your students to discover a life of activity and competition.  Sign up now for fall sports.  It is a great way to get involved with your school, meet other parents and students, and enjoy yelling for the home team!
