FOOD BOOTH AT DEO IN THE PARK – SIGN UP
We are looking for 7th and 8th graders who can help us in the food area for the Deo in the Park (Nov 8th). There is a sign-up sheet at school. The sign-up times start at 11:30 and go until 1:30. They can sign up with their friends and plan to help serve. It will be fun time of fellowship while serving.

JOIN US FOR OUR FIRST EVER DAD’S DAY AT CDA ON OCTOBER 3
Join other CDA dads for a campus workday at 8:00 – 10:00 on Friday, October 3rd. The morning begins with coffee and doughnuts in the Fireside Room. Mark Lewis has a list of projects. ANNUAL HEALTH SCREENINGS OCTOBER 13 & 14
Hearing, vision, and ANTES screenings will be administered at school by Insight on Monday, October 13th and Tuesday, October 14. This service is offered to assist families in fulfilling annual mandated health screenings. Contact Ellen Perry for more information
PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES OCTOBER 22 & 23
Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled by the teacher at the Logic and High School. If you would like to have a parent/teacher conference, please contact the teacher with whom you would like to meet. You may also request after-school conferences any time.
SCHOOL PICTURE DAY OCTOBER 29 & 30
Student and class pictures will be taken at school on Wednesday, October 29th and Thursday, October 30th.
NOVEMBER EVENTS INCLUDE GRANDPARENTS DAY & DEO IN THE PARK
Mark Your Calendar for the week of November 3rd. We are excited to have the opportunity to share the vision for our school with the grandparents and other special people in the lives of our students! We invite the grandparents of PreK – 12th grade CDA students to join us from 7:45am-Noon on Wednesday, November 5th and Thursday, November 6th to tour our facilities and have pictures made with their grandchildren.
CDA parents will be receiving an E-vite invitation to forward to their relatives about Grandparents Day. Please send the e-mail invitation to your child's grandparents or RSVP for them. But that's not all! The grandparents will be recognized again at the Friday night football game when Lions play at 7:30 at the Coppell Stadium West. Our fun filled week will end with our third annual Deo in the Park held on Saturday, November 8th from 10am-1pm. We will have activities for all ages! You will not want to miss this fun event! Tickets will go on sale October 20th & 21st. Please check the blog for weekly updates on all the above events.
