Carrollton campus adds administrative area

[Carrollton, Texas – Sept. 22, 2008]   Visitors to Coram Deo Academy’s Carrollton campus will be greeted in a new reception area thanks to the completion of a renovation and remodeling project. According to School Director Scott Davis, the new reception area will be accessible through the building’s main entrance which faces Hebron Parkway, instead of through the smaller side entrance on the western edge of the structure.

“The reconstruction project is designed to add administrative space that will include a new reception area, some office space and a conference room,” said Mr. Davis.  “In addition to file storage space, the renovated area will mean some much needed work space for our staff.”

The three-week project is being completed by local contracting company The Tekton Group, under direction of the company’s owner Ron Nelson, and will displace some 850 sq. ft. of what was once a youth recreation area.

Mr. Davis sees the consolidation of offices and the move toward the central corridor of the leased space in Christian Life Assembly’s Youth and Children’s building as a major step toward permanence and expansion of the Carrollton site.  “Our long-term goal for the campus has always been to grow the student body and expand into the higher grades, and this expansion is a step in that direction,” he said.

“A more visible presence here will create a sense of home for our school, and give us the chance to show that we are here to stay,” he concluded.

Carrollton’s CDA campus currently provides grammar (grades PreK-four) and logic (grades five -eight) level instruction for approximately 300 students.
