Three students honored in National Merit Scholar program

Two Coram Deo Academy High School of Flower Mound students, Marian Rogers and Rachel Synan, have been named National Merit Semifinalists. They are in the top 1% of students taking the exam and join 16,000 others continuing in the competition for some 8,200 National Merit Scholarships, worth more than $35 million, that will be offered next spring.

Rebecca Musgrove was named a Commended Scholar, and is in the top 5 % of students taking the 2007 Preliminary SAT /National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
