The current campus in Carrollton has been given an opportunity to expand the classroom space and likely the available grade offerings. We are currently working hard to develop this permanence with the Carrollton campus and give Collin County and eastern Denton County families a Classical and Christian option for high school as well as our current pre-k through grade eight offerings. A committee from the Carrollton campus, made up of representatives from various communities, determined that this was the best course of action for our current development in Carrollton and for the expansion of grade levels in this area. However, even though the current school in Carrollton will stay in its original location, this does not mean that CDA has no interest in starting another campus in Collin County. On the contrary, CDA is very interested in the prospects of a new campus in Collin County. A new committee focused solely on the development of a Collin County campus is being formed. We are looking for volunteers. At this point we are in need of two major items in relation to the formation of a new campus. First, we need volunteers for a committee and to do some leg work. This team will spread the word in Collin County and recruit interested families and facilities. Additionally, we need the appropriate funding. Starting new campuses is made possible solely from the donations of interested families. We have started an account for this new campus and donations have already been received. If you are interested in working with this group, please e-mail Scott Davis at sdavis@coramdeoacademy.org. Also, if you are interested in helping financially, please contact us for details or go to https://www.cdafidelis.org/donate/donate_now.php to donate on line. If you have questions or would like to visit a current CDA campus, please call 972-862-8657.
One of the most important things people can do right now is to spread the word. We want people in Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Prosper and other Collin County communities to know all about CDA and to join the effort. Again, please call or e-mail for more information or to volunteer.
Thank you for the help. Let’s all pray that the Lord will get the right group of people together to lead the charge for a new Collin County campus.
In Christ,
Scott Davis
