• One school, multiple campuses

  Coram Deo Academy is one school with multiple campuses in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. Our locations in Plano (Collin County), Dallas, and Flower Mound serve more than 930 Christian families. We have one mission and the same vision. The curriculum and academic standards are the same for each campus.

• Faith matters

  79% of the Class of 2023 volunteered at their church while 31% went on a mission trip during their rhetoric (high school) years.

• Interdenominational student body

  The families of Coram Deo Academy must adhere to the Christian faith. We worship in over 200 local churches.

• Total enrollment of over 1700 students (district)

  1,748 students started the 2023-2024 school year at our three campuses:

  • Collin County –  588 students in grades PreK-12
  • Dallas –  443 students in grades PreK-12
  • Flower Mound –  717 students in grades PreK-12

• Small class sizes

  The average class size at Coram Deo Academy is 14 students. Coupled with our collaborative approach, our students get a lot of individual attention!

• Above average test scores

  Students at CDA outpace the national and state averages for college admissions tests. Our 3-year average (class of 2019-2021)  for ACT was a composite score of 27.4 while the SAT average was 1239.
  
  
  
  

• $15,117,943 in scholarships was offered to the Class of 2023

  The class of 2023 had 99 graduates including 4 National Merit Finalists, 5 National Merit Commended 1 National Merit Hispanic Scholar, and 1 National African American Scholar.  Twenty six students were offered scholarships of at least $100,000 with 19 students offered Presidential or Provost Scholarships. This class was offered over $15,117,943 in scholarships.

• Exceptional pass rate for AP Exams

  CDA offers 10 AP courses with 6 required for graduation. 
  
  The AP pass rate over the last 5 years for CDA students is 77%.  The average pass rate on AP exams for all Texas students for the same time period is 52%.

• 33 National Merit Finalists

  Since 2007, CDA has had a total of 33 National Merit Finalists, 16Hispanic Scholars, and 71 Commended graduates.

• Excellence in fine arts

  CDA students shine when it comes to fine arts.  Here are some of our accolades:
  

  • ART: Several CDA students participated in the 4th Annual Truth Goodness Beauty Art competition with entries from 11 Christian schools across Texas. CDA Students earned 14 medals across all major categories with 6 taking 1st place, 3 taking 2nd place and five 3rd place. One student received Best of Show.  Fourteen CDA artists received top scores on ALL 17 entries and were awarded regional medals among almost 2,000 entries at the Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) Texas Regional Competition. Three CDA student advanced to the VASE State competition.  One CDA artist is a finalist for the ACCS Blakely Prize for Drawing and two are finalist for this prize for Painting.  Five CDA artists had the honor of creating custom portraits of 5 Rohingya refugees in Malaysia through the Memory Project.

  

  • BAND: CDA had 10 students earn a place in the TPSMEA All State Band. Last year, twenty soloists and ten small ensembles advanced to TPSMEA State Solo & Ensemble. Symphonic Band received the Sweepstakes award for the 9^th year at TPSMEA Concert and Sight Reading Contest.
  • CHOIR:  The Coram Deo Academy Flower Mound and Collin County choir students participated in Solo and Ensemble Contest. These gifted students earned a total of 125 first division medals!  The two top choirs from Flower Mound and Collin County participated in Choir Contest. Both choirs received top honors!  14 students made the TPSMEA All Region Choir and 2 students made the TPSMEA All State Choir.
  • THEATRE: The One-Act Play has been to the state meet 6 times since 2013.  The shows have placed second twice and fourth just last year in 2020. Cast and crew have been awarded numerous all-star and honorable mention individual awards, including Best Actress at the state meet.  CDA Theatre produces musical theatre productions every other year.

  

  • SPEECH & DEBATE: The CDA speech team competes in Texas Forensic League, Texas Association of Private & Parochial Schools, National Individual Events Tournament, and National Speech and Debate Association.  There have been finalists in multiple speaking events at regular Texas Forensic Association tournaments, multiple state qualifiers, one third place Congressional Debater and 2 Texas Forensic Association State Speech champions in Congressional Debate and informative speaking.  CDA students have been in multiple finals rounds of events and placed 3rd and 8th place in TAPPS State Solo Acting, 4^th place Poetry Reading and 2nd place State Runner up in TAPPS State Persuasive Speaking.  Students were named TAPPS State Champions in Lincoln Douglas Debate, Prose Reading, Persuasive Speaking, and Original Oratory.  CDA has had National Individual Events Tournament of Champions qualifiers in Original Oratory, Dramatic Interpretation, and Informative Speaking.  Students have also been in the semi-finals round of Congressional Debate and top 64 in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking and Public Forum Debate at the National Speech and Debate Tournament national competition. Multiple students have also earned membership in the National Speech and Debate Association Honor Society.

  • YEARBOOK: The 2020 yearbook was featured in the 2021 Jostens Look Book. This book recognizes the best Jostens yearbooks from around the country.  

• Accomplished student athletes

  Our student athletes had a great year in the classroom and on the field of play::
  
  TAPPS honors juniors and seniors who excel academically and athletically. This year, we honor 23 students for Academic All State Honors.
  

  • All 8 of our team sports will advance to the TAPPS State Playoffs and finished 3^rd or higher in district play
  • District Championships for our Volleyball and Boys Track Teams
  • 6 Playoff Game Wins
  • 3 TAPPS Area Champions – Volleyball, Girls Soccer & Football
  • A TAPPS State Semifinalist – Football
  • 3^rd Place TAPPS State Finish – Boys Cross Country

   At the State Level, our student athletes received:

  • 2 First Team All-State Awards
  • 2 Second Team All-State Awards
  • 5 Honorable Mention All-State Awards

   At the District Level, our student athletes received:

  • 21 First Team All-District Honors
  • 20 Second Team All-District Honors
