CDA Dallas Swimmers Finish Strong at the TAPPS State Meet
Earlier this month, Senior Jacob Turner and Freshmen, Luke Hulme and Koert Bouma represented CDA Dallas at the TAPPS Swimming State Championships in San Antonio.
Jacob Turner won and set two State records in the 200 IM and 100 Breast. The 100 Breast was a 16-year-old TAPPS record. Jacob also came home with TAPPS Regional Swimmer of the Meet and TAPPS State Swimmer of the Year. Koert swam with a 4th place finish in the 200 Free and a 3rd place podium finish in the 100 Back. Luke Hulme finished 15th in the state in the 100 Fly dropping 2 seconds and setting a personal best time. Together, the boys all scored points and finished 12th place overall with a team of three! A pretty impressive feat!
