CDA Dallas Celebrates Grandparents Day 2024

Katie Beth Pelley
Last week we had the privilege of hosting Grandparents Day at the CDA Dallas Campus. Grandparents filled our sanctuary as they attended morning chapel, and Dean Hatteberg shared a special message of Prayers for our Grandparents.
"O God of Abraham and Sarah, our Grandparents in the Faith, we thank you for the gift of these Grandparents with us today. May this be for them a moment of joy and a glimpse of the fruit of their labor. Lord, in your Mercy, Hear our prayer."

"O God of the living and the dead, whose own Son conquered the, we thank you also for the gift of those Grandparents who have died. May their memory and legacy continue here on earth, even while they share in the joy of Heaven. Lord, in your Mercy, Hear our prayer."

"O God who remains with his people even in exile, we pray for those Grandparents who are absent, estranged, or unable to attend today. Give them and us your peace in their absence. Lord, in your Mercy, Hear our prayer."

"O Holy Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, we thank you for the gift of those in our lives who are not related to us by blood, but who love and serve us regardless. May their love and care be a reminder to us of your boundless love for us. Lord, in your Mercy, Hear our prayer."

We are so thankful for our grandparents and for their generational impact on our students!
